When quitting is a good idea

True confession time.

I was full-on cray-cray about my business last spring. 

I was part of a business building program and I was putting a TON of pressure on myself to hit certain benchmarks – clients signed, dollars made. 

My stress levels were high. I was constantly beating myself up for not hitting my goals – and, let’s be honest, for not hitting the numbers I saw other people hitting. 

And this pressure was translating into SUPER-AWKWARD sales calls, where prospective clients were picking up on my desperation.

So I decided to stop the craziness. 

I quit using a sales call format that wasn’t working for me.

I quit selling a package I didn’t feel super-confident in. 

I quit doing anything that made me feel graspy or super anxious. 

And you know what? 

As soon as I decided to quit what wasn’t working, my income went up. In fact, it went up $2,500 from March to April.
